Please give me information regarding your arrangement for rental properties with owners. Is it a better arrangement than dealing with Minto directly?
In a few months, I’ll be interested in renting a 1bedr+den at the Minto North Tower.
Will I be allowed to rent immediately after the moving date or do I have to wait until the closing date?
Thanks in advance for your reply. – Elena

Hi Elena,
Rental arrangements between private owners and Minto are great for both parties. Typically you can save a little bit of cash when dealing with private owners and avoid some red tape.
It should still take sometime before the north tower residents take possession. To answer your question ~ the moving date and closing date for a private owner are the same thing. Closing date, possession date and moving date are typically different terms for the same end results ~ you move in and enjoy the place. It could be sometime before we see units available for the north tower though.
Hope this answers your questions.
